The journey began with a spark of inspiration in 2017, when Technoville’s founder returned from a tech conference in Lagos, determined to replicate that energy at home. From early efforts teaching HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at the Youth Resource Centre, Technoville quickly evolved into a movement.

In September 2017, the first-ever Innovate Bonny Conference brought together nearly 50 eager participants, highlighting how technology could transform Bonny Island.

Evolve Tech Summit – Launched in 2019, this virtual summit draws speakers from across Nigeria and has become one of Bonny’s most anticipated tech events.

Bonny Digital Literacy Initiative – Six-month training programs covering product design, web development, data analysis, robotics, and more, helping young people build marketable skills.

Hackathons & Competitions – Like the 2021 hackathon with a $250 cash prize, fostering creativity and real-world problem-solving.

Airobiot Bootcamp – A unique program introducing kids to AI, Robotics, and IoT during school breaks, igniting a passion for emerging tech.
