As the 26th and 27th July date of the Nigeria Broadband Investment Summit 2011 being organised by ATCON and Businessworld Communications Ltd draw near,the organisers have announced that in addition to the core issue of investment and financing, there will be a shift in the industry’s focus on Infrastructure, Content and Rural access in the syndicate sessions of the summit.
Notable experts to speak at this event include:Russell Southwood,CEO of Balancing Act,Fola Adeola,Chairman Mainone cables will be the guest speaker while Dr.Eugene Juwah,the Executive Vice Chairman at NCC will deliver the Keynote speech.Prof.Raymond Akwule of Digital Bridge Institute,Nigeria,Engr.Ernest Ndukwe,Dr Jimson Olufuye,President ITAN,Funke Opeke,Isabella Gross are among the speakers.
In addition to the presentations,exhibitions at the event ,the spokesperson for the summit organizers, Mr. Bimbola Tooki, said that the Nigerian Telecom Investors’ Book will be presented to delegates at the Summit.The book which is a comprehensive catalogue of industry data, players’ database and profile of those who will be front line players of the telecommunication and ICT industry in Nigeria’s second decade of ICT revolution. The book also presents a synopsis of the Nigeria’s telecommunications industry in the last 10 years as well as broadband opportunities available in the country.
