Request for Applications: Cohort 2 of the IgniteHER Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

In partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has formally declared that applications are currently being accepted for the second cohort of the IgniteHER Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.
As part of NITDA’s initiatives under the National Gender Digital Inclusion Strategy (NGDIS), the bootcamp aims to empower Nigerian women entrepreneurs by bridging the gap in women’s access to capital, technology, mentorship, and market prospects.
“We are thrilled to support women entrepreneurs through IgniteHER,” NITDA said in a statement about the initiative. They will gain exposure to artificial intelligence tools as well as critical digital, financial, and business skills via this curriculum.
The eight exciting sessions of the hybrid bootcamp will take place every Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM from July 22 to August 1, 2025. Both online instruction and in-person meetings at the JICA Nigeria office in Abuja would be enjoyable for participants.
In addition to networking and mentoring opportunities with women dedicated to advancing innovation in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, participants will experience an improvement in their company planning, financial literacy, and investment preparedness.
Top-performing companies will be chosen for a special study trip to Japan to attend a startup event, NITDA revealed. This is a transformative opportunity for female entrepreneurs who are prepared to grow.
Interested female founders, co-founders of startups, registered MSMEs, or individuals with strong business ideas are urged to apply during the June 25–July 6 application period.
