Pius Ang’asa Emerges as Nokia’s Country Manager
Pius Ang’asa has been named Country Manager for Kenya by Nokia. He will serve as the primary interface with local authorities and the government, and he will be in charge of establishing and leading the Country Sales Committee (CSC) to grow Nokia’s business in the country across all customer segments.
“Kenya is a key market for Nokia in the region, and we are determined to play a key role in the development and transformation of the country’s telecoms industry,” said Rajiv Aggarwal, Market Unit Head of Central, East, and West Africa (CEWA) at Nokia. We believe Pius will play an important role in this because of his extensive experience, and we wish him the best of luck in his new position.”

Pius has an engineering degree from Moi University and an MBA from the University of Nairobi. He has over 21 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, working in various geographies and roles ranging from project management to account management. Pius joined Nokia in 2011 as an Account Manager on the Airtel account and is now responsible for the Airtel accounts in Kenya, Madagascar, and Congo Brazzaville. He has also served as the Branch Manager of Nokia Congo Brazzaville and as a member of Nokia Madagascar’s Country Management Team.
