Nigerian PropTech Startup TELAH Launches to Digitise Property Management Operations
A new Nigerian PropTech platform, TELAH, has launched with the goal of modernising property management operations across the country’s real estate sector.
TELAH, short for Tenants, Estates, Landlords & Agents Hub, is a digital platform designed to help landlords, property managers, and real estate agents streamline day-to-day operations through automation. The platform offers tools for rent management, tenant communication, and centralised property oversight, aiming to reduce administrative workload and improve operational efficiency.
The launch comes as Nigeria’s real estate industry increasingly turns to technology to address long-standing challenges such as inefficient rent collection, fragmented tenant records, and poor communication between stakeholders.

Speaking on the motivation behind the product, Prince Uchenna Chukwu, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of TELAH, said the team identified a gap between existing solutions and the actual needs of users.
“We decided to build TELAH because the solutions already in the market were not addressing user pain points effectively. Staying close to end users is what shaped our approach,” Prince said.
According to him, industry partnerships have played a critical role in refining the platform. TELAH recently partnered with the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) during its annual conference, where professionals across different segments of the real estate market tested the platform and provided feedback.
“Those collaborations helped us understand the real challenges faced by different classes of users. At the conference, key industry players used the platform, reviewed it, and gave us feedback, some of which we are already implementing,” he added.

Early adopters report that TELAH has significantly reduced manual processes and improved communication between landlords, tenants, and agents. By automating routine administrative tasks and consolidating property data into a single platform, users say they are able to focus more on strategic planning and portfolio growth.
As urbanisation accelerates and housing demand rises across Nigeria, platforms like TELAH are positioning themselves as critical infrastructure for the real estate ecosystem, offering increased efficiency, improved transparency, and data-driven decision-making for property owners and managers alike.
