Nigeria to Host the CommonWealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) Forum 2013 focusing on Innovation Through Broadband
The Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation Forum is the constitutionally mandated ‘flagship’ event of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation which takes place every year. This year’s event will offer regional and international solutions for those in Commonwealth regions sharing knowledge, lessons learnt and key information about technological advances across the Commonwealth and beyond. ‘Innovation through broadband’ is this year’s theme on which speakers and exhibitors at the Forum will provide critical updates and insight into infrastructure, security and application challenges.
Hosted by the Nigerian Communications Commission on behalf of the Nigerian Government, the CTO Forum will bring together Ministers, Senior Officials, Regulators, Universal Service Fund Administrators, Operators and Vendors. The objective of this event is to showcase presentations, workshops and sessions that will answer the questions many attendees now face with regards increasing usage, enhancing access and rolling out suitable infrastructure.
This unique event will offer the opportunity for both public and private sectors to discover how suitable partnerships can hasten ICT development for the benefit of all, including the marginalised across the world.
The two and half days program will be composed of sessions and workshops by a variety of top international speakers, offering stimulating intellectual discussions with practical applications. This will be complemented by networking opportunities throughout the Forum.
