MTN Opens Applications for Africa Pachi Panda Challenge 2025

MTN has declared that the Africa Pachi Panda Challenge 2025, an innovation initiative aimed at young individuals in Africa between the ages of 18 and 35, is officially accepting applications. The initiative’s goal is to promote entrepreneurial solutions to environmental issues that have their roots in the relationship between food, energy, and water. Through innovation, technology, and green business, it advances sustainability.
MTN claims that the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Africa Pachi Panda Challenge are working together on this project. It is anticipated that the initiative will encourage and facilitate the creation of creative, young people-led solutions to pressing environmental issues. The organizers said that the challenge “enables participants to contribute to sustainable development and environmental stewardship within their communities.”
Fostering green enterprise, inspiring young leaders, and providing youngsters with climate action tools are the challenge’s primary goals. In addition to offering competitors the chance to earn up to N6 million in prizes, the organizers stated that the PaciPanda Challenge will address environmental challenges through creative solutions.
MTN affirmed that it will offer the assistance needed to carry out successful concepts. Teams from each participating nation that placed first in the 2025 Challenge were awarded 5,000 USD in prizes and advanced to the Pan-African PachiPanda Contest to compete in the grand finals.
Future Africa Pachi Panda Challenge editions’ specifics and award systems will be revealed later. All interested participants are urged by the organizers to stay informed via the official website and verified social media accounts.
Young people aged 18 to 35, as well as youth-led small and medium-sized businesses from specific African nations, are eligible to participate in the challenge. Applications are being accepted, and registration is still open here.
