mPharma Launches Facility Insights to Support African Pharmacies in Decision Making
mPharma, an African healthcare technology company with three primary business groups (Wholesale, Retail, and Diagnostics) that offer creative solutions, has introduced a new customer-focused product called Facility Insights on Bloom, its unique data management and pharmacy transformation tool.
With the help of this solution, pharmacy owners can solve operational issues and improve the quality of pharmacy management decisions they make.
“Since Bloom’s Facility Insights module launched, we have enjoyed seeing all the essential highlights and insights of our transactions, which helps us understand how far along our work is. Therein exist precise and pertinent analytics. I can quickly access an interface that displays graphs, percentages, and activity progress levels as I compare them over various time periods. in Kigali, Rwanda, Jacques Tuyishimire, RPh, Pharmacist and Managing Director of Siloam Pharmacy. He continued, “I really liked the feature that allowed me to compare the levels of sales, profits, and quickly moving goods over various periods of time. This is incredible!
In the next three months, Facility Insights is anticipated to be completely operational in all mPharma-partner pharmacies in nine African nations, including Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi, and Rwanda, where it has already been deployed in more than 300 pharmacies. The module is made to address the pervasive issue of pharmacies having little data and manually producing the necessary reports for making decisions, which leads to inaccurate data and subpar user experiences.
The user-friendly platform enables pharmacy owners to generate cross-cutting sales, profit, and product reports over specific date intervals, measure the highest and lowest selling products by months, gain insights into mutti member retention, registrations, and more. Accurate and up-to-date pharmacy data is available 24/7.
The new solution is already being used by facility owners to produce pertinent data and insights for their pharmacies:
Chief Product Officer of mPharma Dan Shoukimas, who assisted in the engineering of this functionality, stated the following: “Today’s pharmacies struggle with two issues that are on opposing ends of the spectrum. Either they lack the data and analytics tools they require, are eager to acquire them but lack the tools or training required to do so, or have an abundance of data but are unable to use it to improve their decision-making. In order to fill these and numerous other holes in the data toolkit of the pharmacist, facility insight is a critical advancement. With crucial reporting in place, there will be many chances for us to find useful information that enables our pharmacists to offer the best care.
The Facility Insights team is eager to release products that specifically address the issues and challenges associated with pharmacy management, and it has a number of items on its roadmap that address this goal. In addition to reporting, the team will be developing tools that help pharmacies predict future success based on historical usage trends and make wise recommendations that drive pharmacy growth.
mPharma is motivated by its vision to create a healthy Africa. The release of technologically advanced products that directly address the demands of its clients, partners, and customers is one important method it accomplishes this.
It recently introduced a Last-Mile Delivery platform that boosts vehicle allocation effectiveness and driver delivery pattern monitoring, a Co-Insurance system that permits payments for patients in Gabon with partial insurance coverage, and an e-commerce platform that gives people in Ghana and Nigeria access to high-quality medicines and healthcare services at reasonable prices.
