Mastercard and Women Choice have launched 2 New courses for Female Entrepreneurs in Africa.
With the launch of two new programs, Mastercard and Women Choice have deepened their collaboration to support the growth of female entrepreneurs throughout the Middle East and Africa.
World financial services giant Mastercard has long been at the forefront of giving women access to digital tools, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Women Choice, an international organization dedicated to advancing women’s personal and professional development, launched its pilot cohort in 2023.
ImpactHer and EmpowerHer are two new programs that the two organizations have launched as part of their ongoing relationship to help women entrepreneurs in Africa and the Middle East build their companies and create jobs.
These initiatives will provide women business owners with all-encompassing assistance in the form of training and mentorship, enabling them to open doors for other women in their industry.
“At Mastercard, we’re dedicated to building a more just and inclusive society where everyone can prosper. Amnah Ajmal, executive vice president for market development for EEMEA at Mastercard, stated, “Our expanded partnership with Women Choice will not only have a significant impact on women in the workplace across the region, but will also give women entrepreneurs the right skills, resources, and tools to succeed and drive economic growth in the region.”
“We are thrilled to see the partnership grow through 2024 and are pleased of the program’s great outcomes, which we launched in 2023 in conjunction with Mastercard. Right now, our main goal is to increase the impact. The founder and CEO of Women Choice, Nezha Alaoui, stated that “changing the status quo, advancing women’s employment opportunities, and supporting women-owned enterprises are critical components to helping economies in the Middle East and Africa grow and further thrive.”
