Godwin, a 1st class graduate of System Engineering from the prestigious University of Lagos, resigned as an IT Advisor at Delloitte 5 months into the job and probably his first job after the compulsory National Youth Service Corpse to found Tuteria an online platform that helps you connect with qualified tutors in your area to master the subjects, skills and exams that matters to you.
When asked where he got the inspiration to make the big move of resigning to start a Startup so early, he threw up one of the most powerful and inspirational quote have heard from a startup founder, he said “when you have an idea you really believe in, it consumes you”
Godwin said that the process of registering on Tuteria as a tutor is very manual with a step by step approach to verify the candidate, his details, history, valid Government issued ID cards, social network status, photos etc.
After a candidate is verified, he said a test is then arranged to make sure that the candidate is knowledgeable in any subject or skills he wants to teach.
With over 4000 teachers registered on the site to teach different subjects and skills, and testimonials from satisfied clients, Tuteria has observed a great need, risen to meet the challenge and currently bridging a very wide gab in education sector, creating jobs for the tutors and knowledge for its clients.
