Google has launched 10 free AI courses to empower innovators.
In an important step to meet the growing need for generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills, Google has introduced a series of online courses designed to provide people the skills they need to succeed in this rapidly expanding industry.
Google’s effort is expected to have a significant influence on future innovation and creativity as generative AI starts to change sectors and how we interact with technology.
According to Mirasys India, Google has launched a new educational project that consists of ten extensive courses meant to give students a foundational and advanced grasp of generative AI. Google’s dedication to fostering the next wave of AI pioneers is evident in the open nature of these courses.
The courses that Google offers are listed below:
- Introduction to Generative AI: Learn about the definition of generative AI, how it varies from conventional machine learning techniques, and how to create Gen AI apps using Google resources in this basic microlearning course. 45 minutes is the estimated time of completion.
- Introduction to Large Language Models: This is an additional introductory course that explores the applications of large language models (LLM) and how prompt adjustment can improve LLM performance. It likewise takes about 45 minutes for this course.
- Introduction to Responsible AI: This course discusses Google’s seven AI principles, their implementation, and the significance of responsible AI.
- Generative AI Fundamentals: Students can obtain a skill badge proving their comprehension of generative AI by finishing the first three courses and passing the final exam.
- Introduction to Image Generation: In this course, diffusion models are introduced along with how they are used to generate images, specifically with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI.
- Encoder-Decoder Architecture: Using a real-world TensorFlow implementation, learners are introduced to the encoder-decoder architecture for sequence-to-sequence tasks.
- Attention Mechanism: By explaining the attention mechanism, this course helps students better grasp how it works and how to use it to improve machine learning tasks.
- Transformer Models and BERT Model: This section provides an overview of the BERT model’s components and uses, as well as the Transformer architecture.
- Develop Captioning Models for Images: This course covers the development and assessment of deep learning models for captioning images.
- Introduction to Generative AI Studio: Using real-world examples and a knowledge-testing final exam, learners are given an overview of Generative AI Studio on Vertex AI.
Participants in the courses earn a “Completion Badge” from Google Cloud, signifying their proficiency in generative AI. In a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence, this badge is a useful credential.
