Google DevFest2010 Holds In Lagos
The use of new technologies in monitoring electoral processes globally has been seen as a welcomed development which Africa should explore in their elections.
As Nigeria marches towards her elections 2011, Google is pioneering the use and application of its technologies in efficient data collection, sharing and usage during the 2011 elections in Nigeria at a two day training event tagged DevFest Lagos 2010 which will hold on 29th -30th October, 2010 at Chams 8, Louis Solomon Close, Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
In an interactive chat with Bridgette Sexton of Google who is the Associate Technical Program Manager, Int’ Engineering, Africa. She emphasized the need for Nigeria developers who are interested in Maps and like working with data to be present at the event and promises it will be a cool one.
The event which will kick off with morning inspirational talks from renowned Nigerian and International Elections and IT experts discussing the need for new technologies in elections.
