Global Shapers Lagos Collaborates With HP Life to Promote Digital Transformation in Nigeria
In order to encourage and hasten the digital transformation inside the boundaries of Nigeria, the continent’s most populous country, the Lagos State branch of the Global Shapers Community has launched an international cooperation with HP Life.
The Project Digiterate program has been run by Global Shapers Community in Lagos for the past four years. The goal of Project Digiterate is to empower and provide children in underserved communities between the ages of 15 and 35 with essential digital and technological skills.
Project Digiterate will celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2022, and HP Life has signed a collaboration deal with the Global Shapers Community, Lagos, to increase the initiative’s impact and empower more young people.
One of the largest prominent providers of technological services for online education is HP Life. In order to strengthen the HP Life campaign, “HP 40 Days of Doing Good,” it plans to give all Global Shapers beneficiaries access to its learning platform and resources during the partnership duration.
The two businesses will work together to strengthen youngsters’ skills in important sectors of the rapidly evolving global workforce by identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions in the ecosystems of digital transformation and skill development.
They want to offer young people and the Nigerian economy as a whole a competitive edge both domestically and abroad.
At the Global Shapers Community in Lagos, Ayobami Bamisaiye, the departing curator, said:
“Worldwide Shapers is working on a significant impact scaling milestone for Project Digiterate and values the assistance and knowledge of a global technology company to realize our goal of shaping a better world. Since HP Life is now a significant technology partner working with the Global Shapers Community, Lagos, on this significant project, it will be exposed to more young people. The project is expected to have an influence on thousands of young people and develop and deliver edutech services that guarantee Nigerian youngsters have the greatest tools for the job and for life outside of it.
Country Head for HP Nigeria, Emmanuel Asika, stated:
The advanced, ambitious goal of the Global Shapers Community, Lagos, to become one of the most society-transforming organizations worldwide has been met. As a significant technological partner, HP Life will give the Global Shapers community access to all available learning resources to further their existing successful community impact digital transformation initiative.
