Dr Jimson Olufuye is a graduate of Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos in 1988 where he was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Prize and the College/Faculty prize for the best all round performance. He was also awarded FULL COLOURS for outstanding performance in Chess. He obtained a Master of Technology degree in Computing from the Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2000. In 2007, he was awarded a Ph.D. Business Administration (Strategic Management) by the Irish University Business School, London.
Dr Olufuye worked with private IT firms between 1990 and 1994 after which he started Kontemporary Komputers Ltd in 1995. Dr Olufuye was elected Chairman of the Information Technology (Industry) Association of Nigeria (ITAN) Abuja Chapter in 1995 and he was at the helm till 2001 when he was elected Deputy President. Charles Mok;is a Hong Kong based Internet entrepreneur and IT advocate. He was the co-founder of HKNet in 1994, it is believed that he contributed the company’s expansion as an IP telecommunications operator in Hong Kong. He was a founding chairman of Internet Society, Hong Kong Chapter, and the ex-officio member and ex-president of the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation. He was also a past chairman and a co-founder of the Hong Kong Internet Service Providers Association.
He has been actively promoting the industry’s development and digital comprehension in the region since the early 1990s. Ahmed Ahmed Aliyu At the tail end of the nineteenth century my grand parents met and my father was born.My father who I didn’t know passed away through a brief fever in a confluence town (Lokoja) in the middle belt part of Nigeria.
