You can now Apply for the GrowUp Incubator Programme
Applications for the most recent iteration of the GrowUp Incubator Program, which seeks social business solutions for sustainable tourism and mobility in East Africa, are now being accepted by the Yunus Environment Hub (YEH).
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus co-founded and serves as the executive director of YEH, a global social enterprise network that develops solutions to environmental issue. In order to address environmental challenges, it promotes and develops social business solutions that are self-sufficient financially.
In order to help early-stage entrepreneurs in the travel and mobility industries identify and implement potential ways that the circular economy might assist their growth, as well as evaluate the impact of their green social businesses, it just launched a new incubation program.
Entrepreneurs in Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi will receive support from the cohort.
Selected entrepreneurs will receive peer-to-peer support and training on implementing circular solutions during the six-month program. They will also have access to interactive capacity-building bootcamps, on-demand sessions to help implement circular strategies, and networking opportunities with regional and international partners.
