AFD Digital Challenge

The sixth AFD Digital Challenge, which is focused on the cultural and creative industries, is now accepting applications.

The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) is committed to assisting high-impact tech entrepreneurs in Africa for the sixth year running.

All Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) startups and associations that use digital technology at the core of their solutions and have a workable business plan are eligible for the competition. In addition to receiving financial support, the 10 winning projects will also get assistance in advancing their initiatives and taking part in the advancement of culture and creativity through technology and digital innovation in Africa.

Through a “acceleration package” that combines technical assistance and financial support up to EUR45,000 (US$49,000) each laureate, AFD will support them.
