Applications Open for 7th OceanHub Africa Accelerator Program
The seventh iteration of the 12-month OceanHub Africa accelerator, which will support up to 24 of Africa’s most promising impact for-profit startups committed to maintaining and restoring the health of the ocean over two intakes, is now accepting applications.
OceanHub Africa seeks to assist and develop profit-driven, ecologically responsible companies that fight ocean pollution, overexploitation, and global warming.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis for the seventh cohort of the 12-month acceleration program, which intends to support up to 24 initiatives over two intakes in March and July.
Ventures can connect with top ocean experts, mentors, self-development coaches, alumni, impact investors, and possible clients and partners by joining the OceanHub Africa portfolio, which provides access to a worldwide ocean-impact ecosystem. Additionally, they will get practical assistance to expedite their development.
A one-week in-person bootcamp, in-person attendance at the annual Ocean Innovation Africa Summit, and remote sessions utilizing online resources and communication techniques are all included in the hybrid-format curriculum.
Along with a number of other benefits, the package also includes up to US$75,000 in AWS credits and more than US$40,000 in mechanical engineering design software licenses for virtual testing and prototyping from 3DExperience Lab.
