Applications Open for 5th Edition of Open Startup’s BRAIN Accelerator Programme

Applications are now being accepted for the fifth iteration of Open Startup’s flagship accelerator program, BRAIN, which is based in Tunisia and helps African deeptech entrepreneurs get ready for financing and the market.
BRAIN is a 12-month hybrid accelerator designed for deeptech and science-based African startups in the health and climate sectors that are implementing sophisticated AI technologies or complex hardware. Open Startup is a non-governmental organization that promotes innovation and capacity building through entrepreneurship, education, and cross-cultural exchange.
BRAIN, created in partnership with Steve Madden, Digital Africa, MIT-Africa, the MIT Executive MBA Program, Bpifrance, Sanofi, and InstaDeep, as well as AfricaGrow, AfricInvest Group, and the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF), gives founders the resources, know-how, and connections they need to connect the lab with the marketplace.
With the help of a robust network of international partners, BRAIN has helped over 40 deeptech startups in 12 industries and 10 African countries over the past five years. Until November 2, applications for the fifth program can be found here.
