Applications for the EY SDG Accelerator for Women Entrepreneurs are being accepted from African startups.

The EY SDG Accelerator for Women Entrepreneurs, which seeks to support the scaling of women-led AI solutions for social impact and enabling inclusive finance, has extended an invitation to African entrepreneurs to apply.
In order to promote solutions that address climate change, enhance livelihoods, and create resilient communities throughout the Global South, the EY SDG Accelerator for Women Entrepreneurs supports women-led AI initiatives that are in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Over the course of six months, it will discover and assist five women-led AI-driven impact businesses in South/Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa. These impact businesses must use AI responsibly and for good in order to tackle today’s pressing global issues, such as food shortages, social and economic inequality, and climate change.
A dedicated one-on-one EY business coach, expert technical training, and capacity-building sessions led by top industry partners will be provided to chosen entrepreneurs. Additionally, they will have access to a global network of corporates, investors, and social innovators; frequent peer-to-peer calls to create a global community; and sporadic chances to participate in events, promotions, and collaborations with outside partners.
Applications are open here until June 15.
