Applications are now open for the 4th GameUp Africa training programme.
Applications are now being accepted for the fourth iteration of GameUp Africa, a Maliyo Games-led training program designed to equip budding game developers with the skills they need to succeed in the international gaming industry.
GameUp Africa is a five-month in-house training program that was established in 2021 to encourage young African game developers and creators from all African countries.
It is led by Maliyo Games, a game creation studio with over 40 games in its portfolio that is situated in Lagos and specializes in making mobile games with an African influence.
“We’re thrilled to present the fourth iteration of GameUp Africa. It genuinely is evidence of the program’s enduring value and influence on the business. Hugo Obi, the founder and CEO of Maliyo Games, stated, “This year, we’ve broadened our reach even further and focused on even more skills needed to succeed in both the local and global gaming industries.”
The deadline for applications is August 11.
