Applications are now open for the first Femintech Innovation Challenge from Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing division of the largest e-commerce company in the world, Amazon.
The challenge is designed specifically for women-led startups in Africa and aims to promote innovation, networking, and investment opportunities.
The Femintech Innovation Challenge will highlight and honor the successes of female-led firms, encouraging more women to become founders and executives in the tech sector. Additionally, it will give participating startups a stage on which to present their concepts to a jury made up of well-known venture investors and subject-matter experts.
In addition, it will help women entrepreneurs network so they can connect with mentors, investors, and other resources to grow their companies and be successful.
