Amazon is now Allowing iPhone Users to Try Shoes on Virtually Before Purchasing Them
Buyers may now try on their future shoes from the comfort of their own homes, thanks to Amazon.
The e-commerce titan is releasing its Virtual Try-On for Shoe function in order to make online fashion purchases easier for its customers.
Thanks to an engaging mobile experience, customers can try on and check a pair of shoes from all angles before making a purchase, all from the comfort of their own home or while on the go.
You can try on hundreds of shoes from businesses like Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Lacoste, Asics, and New Balance using the Virtual Try-On for Shoe function, which is now only available on iOS in the United States and Canada.
The technique is simple: after choosing a pair of shoes, position your feet using your smartphone’s image sensor. Following that, the shoes are shod (virtually understood) at the user’s feet, where they are visible from all sides.
Customers can simply change the color of their shoes by cycling through the options on the carousel without having to leave the experience. Remember that Amazon has a history with augmented reality, having offered a similar tool to locate an item in the home in 2017.
