African AI startups are invited to apply for the Intel Liftoff Hackathon.
The Intel Liftoff Hackathon, which aims to unite software developers, aspiring tech entrepreneurs, and AI enthusiasts to work together, invent, and discover solutions to real-world African problems, is now accepting applications for its second edition.
In collaboration with Modus Africa, University Mohamed VI Polytechnic – Morocco, TUT Hub of Artificial Intelligence Institute of South Africa, Prosper Africa, UM6P Ventures, FAST Accelerator, Innov8 Technology Hubs, and Open Startups International, the Intel Liftoff Hackathon for African AI Startups is set to take place online from May 27 to May 31 with a theme of Hack and Connect.
The hackathon will include three days of challenges with mentors to test skills, practical workshops to teach AI fundamentals, exhibition opportunities to showcase startups and establish partnerships with industry leaders, and networking opportunities to interact with other startups and learn from domain experts in the AI ecosystem.
The winners will get exclusive mentoring sessions with ecosystem partners, blog post marketing possibilities, and an invitation to join Intel Liftoff for Startups.
