These artificial intelligence (AI) powered tools were unveiled on Thursday. For platform Premium customers, these features are now being pushed out internationally.
LinkedIn releases updated AI tools.
LinkedIn unveiled a new feature that falls under the category of the AI-powered work experience on the platform in a press piece.
It is only available in English right now, but the company promises to add more features in the future based on user input.
There will be an integrated chatbot, an AI-powered Jobseeker Coach, incorporated. Using straightforward text commands, the chatbot is able to look for jobs. For example, users can write in “Find me a job UI/UX designer job in Bengaluru that pays at least Rs. 10 lakh a year” or “Find me a job in cybersecurity within my network,” and the AI will search through its database to provide relevant recommendations. Incorporating strategies to stand out in search results is another usage for it by users.
Additionally, LinkedIn is rolling out a feature that evaluates users’ applications and resumes and makes them stand out. The AI will provide insightful criticism and customized recommendations that are suited to particular job postings. Furthermore, the application will help enhance the cover letter by providing editable and manually reviewable tips.
A few tools are also being added to the platform to assist professionals in learning new skills and receiving assistance. Expert guidance is a new service that allows coaches and business experts to provide tailored counsel to LinkedIn Premium users. The company stated that these AI bots are taught by actual specialists.
Lastly, as customers enroll in new courses on the platform, a personalized coaching component will assist them. They will be able to request examples and insights from real time, as well as content summaries and clarification on certain subjects. Although users have begun to receive this feature from LinkedIn, it can take a few days for everyone to see them.
