Elon Musk reduces the cost of Twitter verification to $8
Elon Musk, a billionaire and the new president of Twitter, has announced a reduction in the monthly charge for Twitter verification from $20 to $8.
On Tuesday, Musk revealed this in a string of tweets.
The billionaire promoted the advantages of having a paid verified handle, including priority in answers, mentions, and search, which he claimed would help combat spam and scam.
Musk also mentioned further benefits, like the ability for publishers to escape paywalls and the ability to post lengthy films and audios.
He said that by charging a fee, Twitter will be able to pay content producers.
Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullshit.
Power to the people! Blue for $8/month.

Twitter’s present lords & peasants mechanism for determining who has or does not have a blue checkmark is crap, he claimed in his post. People power, indeed! $8/month for Blue.
Price adjustments made according to purchasing power parity by country.
Additionally, you will receive: – Priority in answers, mentions, and searches, which is necessary to combat spam and scam. – The ability to upload lengthy videos and music – Half as many adverts.
Additionally, publications wanting to cooperate with us can bypass paywalls.
Additionally, this will provide Twitter with a source of income to pay content producers.
