Instagram is Working on a Full-Screen Feed
On its photo and video-sharing app, Instagram is experimenting with a new full-screen feed. In a Tweet, the social media network verified the news.
On his Instagram story, CEO Mark Zuckerberg also offered a sneak peek of the full-screen feed testing, stating that “pictures are still a vital element of Instagram.” Furthermore, this new Instagram feed will most likely resemble TikTok’s next redesign. All Instagram users will soon be able to view their feed in full-screen mode.
In a Tweet, Instagram unveiled the platform’s testing version of the full-screen feed. On the other side, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg used his Instagram story to show out a glimpse of the full-screen feed.
According to the firm, the next full-screen version of the stream is presently being tested and will be available to customers soon.
The new design also appears to change the shortcuts for getting to the inbox and creating new posts on the network. This new design is supposed to be comparable to TikTok Clear mode, which was said to be under testing earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Instagram users have recently been plagued by an issue with the program that causes older stories uploaded by individuals they follow to appear even after they have been viewed.
Luckily, the company released an update aimed at fixing the repeating stories bug on its iOS app. The new update — v239.1, reportedly resolved the said bug.
