African startups can start applying for the FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge
The FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge is looking for companies who are working on Cardano or are interested in using the Cardano blockchain technology and ecosystem, and will provide selected companies with access to a bootcamp and accelerator program.
The FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge is a collaboration between Cardano’s Project Catalyst, a community and group of experiments focused on self-governance to grow the Cardano blockchain; Seedstars, a Switzerland-based organization with the mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship; and the Financial Times, one of the world’s leading business news organizations.
The purpose is to find and invest in high-growth firms around the world, as well as to support entrepreneurs that are developing or planning to develop blockchain solutions based on the Cardano public blockchain platform. Participants will be provided with the necessary tools and methods for gaining traction and scaling their blockchain solutions.
Fifty startups will be chosen for a three-day bootcamp, after which 24 entrepreneurs will be picked for a follow-up acceleration program. The Seedstars International Investor Fund will fast-track a worldwide winner. Interested parties can register here before May 31.
“Our team is observing developments in the blockchain and Web3 space with interest. “Our team is excited to establish the FT x Cardano Blockchain Challenge to help promote all of the opportunities and breakthroughs that blockchain enables,” said Alisee de Tonnac, co-CEO and co-founder of Seedstars.
