3 Namibian startups joins the CcHub’s Seedr programme
Co-Creation Hub (CcHub), a Lagos-based hub, accelerator, and investor that has recently expanded across Africa, has chosen three Namibian startups to participate in the Seedr accelerator it is running in collaboration with local partner Startup Namibia.
CcHub has been on an expansion spree in recent years (see here), and now claims to be Africa’s “largest innovation hub.” Its most recent offering is the Seedr program, a six-month acceleration program for early-stage technology startups in emerging ecosystems with the potential to scale and make an impact.
CcHub’s Seedr program aims to work with impact-driven founders to help them develop their startups into sustainable entities and raise funding via its syndicate platform. Three startups have been chosen for the first cohort following a thorough review process in collaboration with Startup Namibia.
Nam Grocery is a B2C e-commerce startup focused on grocery sales and delivery; Kanie Supply and Distribution Chain is an AI-powered technology company specializing in data monitoring, collection, and processing using drones for agriculture, nature conservation, and construction; and PEBL designs and assembles a variety of products, including energy-saving computers, gaming laptops, and a small form factor PC.
The Seedr program will assist the teams in expanding their operations to more cities in Namibia and throughout the Southern African region, as well as increasing their customer base and revenue, over the next few months. The startups will also pitch to investors via the CcHub syndicate and receive investment support to close their fundraising engagements.
